2010 Call for Applications
The Elgin St. Thomas Community Foundation's vision is to respond to community need and provide support
to Elgin County charities with sustainable 'into perpetuity' funding. Building endowed funds
since 2005, we curently hold assets of over $640,000 and have granted over $100,000 to dozens of local charities,
while preserving community capital to provide sustainable ongoing funding.
Our Funds and Services provide a wide range of opportunities for donors and Elgin County charities. We currently hold 19 unique Funds....and growing!
The Elgin St. Thomas Community Foundation is now accepting applications for grants from 2 of its 19 Funds:
The COMMUNITY FUND supports charitable activities in 5 areas of focus: Social Services, Arts and Culture, Recreation, Education and Enviornment.
The MCGREGOR MORRIS FUND supports Art in Public Places.
