Join the Elgin St. Thomas Community Foundation’s Connect & Learn series, designed to equip local nonprofits with practical tools, actionable strategies, and opportunities for peer learning.

This series features sessions 2 separate sessions, one on Strategy in Action (May 25, 2026) and one on Funding Your Mission (June 15, 2026), both led by social impact consultant Julie Forrester at CASO Station in St. Thomas.

Whether you’re looking to refine your strategic direction or strengthen your funding approach, these sessions offer valuable insights to support your organization’s growth and community impact. Lunch is included.

Animal Aide of St. Thomas-Elgin

Animal Aide St. Thomas–Elgin is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of animals in our community. Through rescue efforts, foster care, adoption programs, and public education, Animal Aide works tirelessly to ensure every animal has the opportunity to find a safe, loving home. By supporting local pet owners and advocating for responsible animal care, they help create a more compassionate and caring St. Thomas–Elgin for both animals and people

Great-EST Needs Fund

The Great-EST Needs Fund is now open! Based on consultations with community leaders, our grant focus for 2026 will be on three areas: youth mental health (focused on ages 14 to 29), addiction & substance abuse, and food insecurity & poverty. Let’s create an impact in Elgin-St. Thomas and apply for a grant today!

This fund addresses some of the most pressing challenges facing the Elgin-St. Thomas community. Our current priority areas include food insecurity, poverty, housing stability, mental health, public safety, and addiction. With your help, we can support community-driven innovative approaches that support lasting change.
